Frans Dlamini sings past Tum

MANZINI – Top businessman Henry Tum DuPont failed to make it through at the Nhlambeni primary elections.
DuPont suffered a disheartening defeat at the hands of gospel guru Frans Dlamini.
Famously known for his tracks ‘Magwinyagwinya’ and ‘Ithikithi lakho’, Dlamini impressed as his fans and supporters sang the tunes the moment he was pronounced the winner. As they raised their voting cards in the air singing ‘Liphi lithikithi lakho?’, they hoisted Dlamini in the air.
The famous musician however had it tough as Channel Swazi news anchor Simphiwe Ncongwane also proved to be another favourite.
Dlamini got 198 votes, followed by Abraham Hlatjwako with 190 and Ncongwane came third with 83 votes.
