Timothy sings into secondary elections

LUBULINI – Award winning gospel artist Timothy Myeni has won the primary elections at Ka-Ngcamphalala umphakatsi here.
Myeni, a former Member of Parliament, now proceeds to the secondary stage of the elections. The Ncandweni Christ Ambassadors lead singer could not hide his exuberance at the victory as he stated that "the people have spoken". "I had initially decided not to join this year’s elections, but I could not go against the wish of the masses as they are the ones who nominated me for the position," Myeni said. Myeni looks set to undergo a gruelling fight with Sanele Gina who won at Mabantaneni umphakatsi.
